Who we are

About us

Česká stopa is a Czech nonprofit organisation that provides addressed help to people in Ukraine (civilians and soldiers). The team consists of experienced and motivated volunteers who collect and distribute material aid to those most in need.

Aleš Pavel

“I got involved in our work at a later stage, when I realized that just talking and swearing at Russia is not enough. I don’t want my children to live in a world where aggression and violence win over justice and decency.”

Petr Drápal

“Since February 2022, I have known “where the north is”, and who needs my help, and I have been doing it ever since. As time goes by, our help changes, but the goal remains the same. The most important thing is that the help, whatever form it takes, is targeted and delivered to where it is needed the most. I have made countless trips to the east of Ukraine, where I saw the harsh reality of war, and I am convinced that my assistance is meaningful. Now, I am trying to support other volunteers in Česká stopa to boost our joint efforts.”

Veronika Ročáková

Veronika Ročáková agrees with the quote of the former Czech president Václav Havel that “indifference to others and indifference to the fate of the whole is precisely what opens the door to evil.”
